SINGing
Singer, composer and teacher, born 1973 in Stockholm, Sweden. Explores the performative and educational possibilities of folk singing and kulning through polyphony, variation and improvisation in teaching, new composition and artistic projects. Graduate at the Folk Music department of the Royal College of Music in Stockholm from where I have a Master of education and Master of Art degree. Often perform in spectacular contexts especially with the unique “kulning” (Herding calls). I dive into exciting research projects like Folk Song Lab - (read more about here), Singer in the Award winning A´capella trio Irmelin since 1999.
